Man it's been a long time, but I think it's the high area of the cheekbone and the hair about in the middle of the part.

I should have extended my question to the reverse - since the shield is stripped bare anyway, where else should I look for wear on the reverse? Buncha commedians!

Obverse - Cheek, jawbone, center of neck, hair below part.
Reverse - bundle of arows, center tail feather, and right wing tip.

I guess I should have mentioned the reverse. Heck where is Russ, I had to go look at his icon to remember what they look like. Probably the tail feathers, the head, maybe the wing tips.
