hmmmm... PCGs just gave me some grades...

LucyBopLucyBop Posts: 14,001 ✭✭✭
overall not bad, but not great and I missed on a potential heavy hitter...

the 46s Washie has some killer toning and luster and had the PCGs ms67 look....
It also had a shot at a bodybag...... I have had three good runs on Roosies, but not this one...
The 55 Washie was also a shot ms67....... That coin is very nice.....

    Lucy,

    They've been very tough recently.

My batch of Ikes was the worst grading fiasco I've ever had.

Makes me feel like a total amateur!

Save them and try again in a few months!

    Oh Luuuucy:

It looks as if you did okay... this FB Roosevelt designation that was introduced recently...any thoughts as to how it is working? I still have never submitted a Roosevelt Dime to any service.

  • I just got an order of 20 Silver Eagles in today from PCGS. I did the regular economy service but they came in a lot quicker than the predicted wait time. It was about 27 business days total.
Probably because they were all silver Eagles.
    Happy with the grades.

BTW, I am not a Roosevelt expert, but I think the 53-D with FB is alittle tougher to get than most collectors think. Congrats!

Silver Eagles are not economy service level, they are modern service level. Moderns process much more quickly than economy.

    Lucy,

That's as close as I've seen you come to complaining. They must be nice.image

    Nice grades Lucy.

Maybe you should crack the 1955 Washington and resubmit.

Local stores...... Stores all over the west coast.... local coin shows... I have a eye for GEMs.....
Its simple, look for coins with clean fileds and very few hits.... check for wear on high points.....
