New Camera and new pics.

Got my new camera going. Nikon CoolPix 5400. I've taken a few pics. Don't have good light for it at moment. Wil try to take some in daylight.

This is what I got so far. Will work on more later.

Impressive close up. And that was without any additional zooming? Just the camera?

I've heard they were great for coins. Really nice first set of pictures. What's the zoom? 10x?

No zoom in use. The close up is cropped off a larger picture, where the lower half of the coin filled the frame, taken at 5 megapixel mode. Camera probably an inch from the coin while shooting. No loupes involved.
