Hey, toned haters, take a look! REPENT NOW AND BE SAVED!

These coins are naturally toned...that is, they were toned by US government mintbags over decades and decades of storage!
Also notice that while strikingly different, each of these coins' color progression follows the SAME pattern.......further attesting to their original nature.
I appreciate and respect the white coins (even have a few nice ones), but just feast your poor toned hating eyes on these bad boys.
They come from www.numisvision.com and Numismatic Enterprises
Repent now, toned haters, and you will be saved...it's not too late!!!!! You too can still appreciate natural COLOR!

You can check them out at numisvision.com is you like (and no, this is NOT an attempt to sell someone else's coins)
Just love sharing beautiful pics, whether they're mine or not!
We ARE watching you.
<< <i>They need a good long dipping.
30 minutes in E-Z-Est and they'll be good as new.
I'd just like to see those in person. They are stunning!!!

Yes, I'm an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial.
how do you know?
If your answer is "because i was there when the sealed bags were opened",
that's very different than
"I can tell by looking at them"

I wonder how much too bb or not to bb is based on physical attributes of the coin versus comparisons of others of the same issue versus market acceptable toning
as manofcoins wants a Washington Qtr like that, but thats not market acceptable is it and would quickly get the bb even if NT?

I would like to buy about 5 more from Mike, well maybe next week
Lucky dog! That 84-O has the most vibrant green I have ever seen on a coin. Stunning!
agentjim007,
Actually, these came from Mike DeFalco, and he does NOT monkey with the images. They really are that nice. I know, it's kind of hard to wrap your brain around, but that's what makes these so rare and desirable. Color vibrancy of this sort is rarely encountered (I know I almost never see it at my local coin show). Owners of these types of coins are tight fisted to say the least.
Baley,
I appreciate your skepticism. However, I can say (I mean, write) that they ARE naturally toned by mintbags from collecting and researching toned coins for years and years. For comparison on what true fakes look like, check out tonecoin2003 's inventory of pink/purple/blue toned fakes. While I could write for some time on how to distinguish between the real stuff andf fake stuff--it's suffice to say that you can look at: the colors themselves, the orders in which those colors appear, the way in which the colors lay in (not on) the fields and devices of the coin, plus the gentle way in which the colors intermix--among many other things.

And you don't really know if they are AT or not do you? How can you really know?
My thing is that the coin was NEVER intended to look like that.
I like my Morgans to look like they just rolled out of the Mint, which means they can have scratches and nicks, but they must be a solid nice lusterous white, the way they were intended to look.
I can do all kinds of things to make some color or black look on my Morgans, but why?
Repent now and get those babies dipped!! You will thank me later!

So your comment about knowing these came straight out of a bag is a lie. If you bought these from another dealer the best you can know it is what you were told.
edited out comments regarding Mike DeFalco. He's a decent guy and shouldn't be commented about in the same breath as numbnuts (our Seattle friend)
Kindly remove the stick from your a** and relax! Just think, it's daylight savings time, you have a whole bonus hour to ponder how you can be less of an a**hole....don't waste it!
YES, they are from mintbags because mintbags impart THOSE colors in THOSE patterns...that WAS my point all along. I.E. certain types of toning are the results of certain types of origin (albums/endroll/mintset...mintbags).
As for the coin you bought from Mike, I'd love to see a pic if you get the chance. It's good to know that you enjoyed your purchase...and did it ever occur to you that some coins and color ARE as nice in person as in the pics? I have plenty that were unbelievable in the pic AND equally unbelievable in my hand.
Anything in your hand the length of a Morgan would be unbelievable.
So we are to rely on your expertise as to why these are absolutely bag toned? Not even a trace of textile pattern on anyone of these. Hmmmmm yet we are certain. And curiously all have the exact same yellow rim reverses. What are the odds?
There you go wasting that bonus hour I mentioned. Come on, focus! Rise above your lowly station!
On this point we do agree...you are a waste of time.
And while you ponder that, I gotta get some sleep. I have a whole lot of Morgan baking to do tomorrow if I want the colors to come out right.
PS-thanks for the cracks, this is honestly some of the most fun I've had on this forum in some time!
