  Nice toning on that Roosevelt. The Merc is very sharp,too.

  MS66 full bans on the mercury and MS65 full torch on the roosevelt. Sure is some nice toning on the reverse of the 54. mike

  MS63 FB shot MS64 on the merc. MS63 FB on the Roosie. There is far to much chatter on Liberty's and Roosevelt's faces. The merc particularly has some nasty looking marks on the back 1/3 of Liberty's neck.

  Wow, you guys are making me feel really good about these coins!
  
  The Merc is in an NGC MS64 holder, no FB designation.
  
  The Roosie I also grade MS64 and think it just barely misses FB, but could also just barely make it.
  
  Either way, it was tough for me to go wrong at $20 for the pair.

  I'll bet their mood was not as bad as the submitter's was, after getting the coin back as a plain ole 64 when you know they were expecting at least 65FSB.

  Hard to tell on the Merc,a little dark,and scan is to small,but looks 65+.Cant tell if there split or not.Al
