I almost would not have been surprised if THIS had ended up on the Georgia quarter, as famous as it became in Savannah. (Of course, the Atlanta folk might have had somethin' to say about that!)
That is a great picture. It sure could not have been taken here because history, from my experience, is always in the way of a mall or super walmart. Sad isn't it. My first cultural shock was in France when I visited cathedral's torn by bullets of war and castles laid to waste by a force wanting to bury a heritage. Thanks for a refreshing pic, Aaron

The statue in the photo in the first post is in Half Moon Bay, California.
It's a coastal community about 30 miles south of San Francisco.
There is a little bed and breakfast along the coast that had a great garden with that statue in it. When I saw it, I immediately thought of Barber coinage (one of my favorite series).
