Yet another 0% excellent acquisition! PART DEUX - IMPROVED PICTURES

The picture is crappy, I took it in "office" light - I'll give it a better shot tonite at the house, but I just received this addition to my toned Kennedy collection - your thoughts? image

UPDATE:

This is the picture I took in the office with marginal flourescent lights

image

This is the picture I just took at the house - with a combination of direct flourescent and incandescent lights

That's nice toning. It's got kind of a cool, late 60's "trippy" feel to it.

By the way, what's it graded at. Maybe 66 at least, that's my guess.
  • Thanks! It's in an MS65 holder (PCGS) Seems pretty decent for the grade image

woulda been better if it wasn't pea green, but pretty slick nonetheless.

  • Again thanks for the comments. It's interesting that I got a lot of comments more or less wondering either about the toning or the color or both. I realize that this type of coin is not for everyone, but in a way it's what makes it interesting to me. I've been collecting toned Kennedy's, particularly endroll toned Kennedy's and each one looks different and unique. As for the colors, well, I'm of the thinking that the "funkier" the better. I guess I just don't see coins like this very often and thus making the coin even more attractive to me. Same for the Franklin below. How often do you get to see a shocking blue Frankie - especially from the 60's with endroll toning to boot! I'd be very interested to hear more comments on these coins.

The "improved pictures" are just that. A very cool looking Kennedy. I like the purple toning the best.
