Haven't bought a coin since ANA. The few coins I've seen of interest since that time have been priced too high. But this one, I simply couldn't resist:
Shazaam! It takes an awful nice proof coin to grab my interest but that one does it. And it's not even blast white dipped. Amazing coin and 100x rarer than a comparable Morgan Dollar. Great purchase...........wanna trade??
Boiler78 - my MS Seated Dollar set is just about done.... well, except for the occasional upgrade. So my eye is wandering again.
Quality such is this is never cheap. I paid full PF65 money for the coin, even tho it resides in a PF64 holder due to an obverse planchet flaw. I think the combination of eye appeal and DCAM [which is uncommon on proof seated dollars] warrants the extra price.
This is my first mint state liberty seated dollar purchase. This was after the ANA as well. This is from the Sterling Collection. Looks like I am entering this field as TDN is graduating from it!!
<< <i>What a piece of crap coin. You couldn't find something better than that since the ANA? You must not be looking very hard >>
Just what I was thinking! But I feel so bad for TDN that I'm willing to take it off his hands for 3x face just this one time. After that though, I will no longer be able to bail him out when he gets screwed buying junk coins. I mean really, sooner or later he has to learn to stand on his own two feet.

I wonder what it's graded at?
Gorgeous coin for sure! This one doesn't suck either.Seated lady
I don't like (mostly) white coins much but this is a HUGE exception!

I wouldn't be able to resist either. Of course, I'd have to sell my car to indulge in such a extravagant beauty.
Congratulations TDN.
