Explain Set Registry to me please!?

Do you have to send all of your coins to PCGS for them to scan?
Or can you send them the scans?
How much does it all cost?
How do you send your coins?
Tell me whatever you can please because I am interested in doing this with my Morgan collection.
Thanks.

No cost. No need to send anything to PCGS. Just follow the links to create a set, and register your coins by using the certification numbers.

Currently PCGS does offer the option of having your encapsulated coins scanned by them. They are/were thinking about this option as it was part of the survey they gave us to fill out at the Registry Lunch this past August at the Annual ANA show.

As mentioned by "itsnotjustme", to register you need to enter your cert #s- see the Registry Set instructions on the Registry section of this site. The grade info will automaticaly be taken care of by PCGS.

No, you do it all on-line.

Or can you send them the scans?
    No scanning required.

How much does it all cost?
It's free, except for the rediculous price of the coins.

How do you send your coins?
You don't send them to anyone.

Many people do not have pictures - but if you can get some nice photos, it helps a great set become even cooler

You can upload your scans/photos and not sure on size max but I'm thinking its over 100 kB
