Found a great album for PCGS slabs !

At the show in Frederick Md today I bought an Eagle Ultra album for Morgans.
Four pages of hard inert plastic holds 36 PCGS slabs.
You can view the coin from both sides.
It lists for $44 but I somehow picked it up for $28 !

Anyone else have one ? Do you like it ?

  • Yes I have a few of them. You can get them with 3, 4, or 5 pages.
Eagle makes a lot of quality products like this.
I love looking at my Morgans in there, they look sweet.
  • I keep my 1872 slabs in one; it makes for a great way to show a set
of coins instead of people having to pull them out of a slab box one
    at a time.

    Where can you find them?
  • I know Amos Advantage sells them or get it directly from Eagle. They make lots of products for raw stuff as well. Do a search online. I have an Eagle brochure I could give you their phone number and website but it is at work so I can't do that until tomorrow.

They are excellent albums and I display my Mercs in them. They are great to use in conjunction with PCGS/NGC plastic boxes as you rotate the coins you want to display, particularly at coin club meetings and shows.

Don't seem to have an 800 number.

they also sell silica gel canisters.
  • I have been using them for years. But if you don't buy the inserts for the first generation PCGS, they fall out.

Eagle has an insert for first generation PCGS holders, so they won't fall out of their certified albums' pages. I think they are in packages of six inserts for about $3.00. I have ordered their ANACS inserts recently, and if you manage it right, the ANACS insert can be used with the old PCGS holders. ( I don't remember if I saw the PCGS inserts advertised for awhile).

    MHayes:
You are right. Those adapters are interchangable for PCGS rattlers and ANACS holders.
  • The ANACS inserts aren't perfectly sized for 1st gen PCGS holders...you have to do some creative squeezing.

Skipper53, I think I saw you there! Was it you that was asking someone next to you about getting the small album or the album with more pages? It was probably around 3 to 3:30, maybe 4. I was the tawl guy walking around just looking at stuff.
