1955 Lincoln Proof Cameo

I'm looking at buying this one. Does this coin have a shot at DCAM? Is it accurately graded? Thanks for your opinion.

No shot at DCAM by the reverse. As to whether it's properly graded, I would have to see the coin in different light and closer up.

nope ...i have 55 dcam its a lot frosty-er than that

i'd say 100.....125 bucks if it looks really good

odds are on it was graded right when it went into the holder...with-in reason.

I have to agree with the rest.No DCAM.Grade appears correct but like chuck said,you'd have to see it in person to say for sure.

I think that is a nice looking Lincoln! It seems to me that PCGS is forgiving of light frost on the Wheat Ear reverses. That coin might not have deep and clear enough fields for DCAM. The frost looks as good as the frost on my '56 DCAM... That said I don't think I would go to the expense of trying it again.

If you like it then buy it.Don't let other peoples opinions sway you either way. I don't think you'll go hungry if you buy the coin.

This 1955 PR67CAM went for $128. While a point higher, the CAM is not as strong.
