Central Alabama Coin Show
Pelham Civic Center, 500 Amphitheater Road

Come by and chat for a while and enjoy the company of Dahlonega, GSAGUY, FiveCents, Tassa, and yours truly. The show will be from 10-6 on Saturday and 10-3 on Sunday. Hope to see a lot of you out here! image

    Nice facility carpeted with comfortable chairs, couches, etc. outside plus just down the hall is an ice skating rink. Two years ago on Sunday morning at this show the sound system was cross connected and we received 20-30 minutes of an old time fire and brimstone sermon from a room down the hall. Didn't hurt any of us and I've wondered a few times since was this serendipity or did a higher power feel the coin dealers needed this?...Should be fun.

    So Frank, are you planning to work on the roosie or some set other than the Franklin set so that I can catch up with you in MS Franklin registry?

    Don't know what that'll be Greg - I will always be looking for outstanding toned Roosies to add to my collection, and that ellusive mega perfect Frankie to submit, but maybe this show will inspire me in new directions!

    As a treat for collectors, I've decided to take both the Frankie and Roosie collections, and put them on display at the show - both are raned #12 in their respective categories, one here, and one across the street - if you happen to stop by feel free to take a gander image

    A combination of the Woodbury and Birmingham sets would be quite a feast for Frankie lovers and an eye opener for everyone else - I hope we get to do such a thing one of these days! image

    Would like to meet up with you people again, but can't make it. It seems because I live in Tennessee I am only allowed to make one trip into Alabama a year and I used that up for the Bessemer showimageimage Hope you all have a good show.
