I wish I had a few hundred grand, too, but you can bet if I did, I wouldn't spend it on no stinkin' Morgan dollar!
I'd buy a house.
(Although if you have to drop a big chunk of change on a small, round piece of metal, I suppose that's as good a candidate as any. I would want better luster with an MS65, however, since we're talkin' hypothetically, anyway. Still an impressive coin, though.)
The funny thing about that auction is it's only at $3,000+ now with 4 bidders. That means that 3 bidders actually bid less than that! Boy, I like to get some of what they are smoking.

...lol... I placed a 2K bid on that coin. Yah, I know that's no where near what it'd sell for, but now I can say I placed a bid on a MS65 93-S. ...not that that means anything.
<< <i>they have a coin of that caliber in an Exclusively Internet auction and with no description. Seems very odd. >>
Exactly what I was thinking. Although, what would they say? "This coin is so dull and lifeless we're amazed it graded gem."?

I'll agree with that as well. That has to be one of the most expensive coins I have seen listed on the Exclusive internet auction. To me, it looks like a dog for a 65.

LincolnCentMan - what a woose! up your bid to $20K, you never know . . .
(Just to show ya, I bid $400,000 on the 1870-S $3 in the Eliasberg sale in 1982 - (Fortunately, at lot of other people bid a lot more than me)
Collecting eye-appealing Proof and MS Indian Head Cents, 1858 Flying Eagle and IHC patterns and beautiful toned coins.

"BEWARE" of coins on "any" internet auction that doesn't give a description on a high dollar coin..... That is usually a good sign that it is low end for the grade, are has other problems!!!IMO
