Check out this proof set!!!

Looks like a real nice 52 proof set!
Could there be hairlines???
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Looks average to me except the cent looks better than average.

Marty, I'm sure Jeff knows what he's selling. They do look nice though. My take, the Lincoln has a chance because PCGS only grades one side for cameo designation, the half looks like a decent cam. The Washington isn't (reverse is weak), and the Jeff probably won't, and the Rosy obverse is weak. Still a nice set. Once you get past the designations, you still have to consider grade. JMO

  • I,ve bought several earlier 50s proof sets from him and always been happy
  • Don is right. Jeff (the seller) knows those coins. It looks like a great set for someone who wants a matched set in original packaging. I doubt there is a big win by slabbing those coins. The Jeff won't cam for sure.
  • Oh Luuuuuucyyyyyyy?!?!?!?!

    Think the Frankie is DCAM?

    sure looks close to me.
  • can you see hairlines through 50 year old cellophane?

this seller must have felt the set would bring more than slabbing a couple coins - penny and half look like winners -
