Crack outs?

David,

Last week I asked a question on Raw v Crack outs. In your answer you said it was tough to see through the plastic on NGC holders. What are your thoughts about people taking a good hard look and crack them out if they look like they make the minimum grade? What are the ramifications of doing that?

    Tony...If we crack the coin out and it doesn't make the PCGS grade, then we have no way of getting the coin back in the holder of the other grading service. That's why we grade the crossover coins thru the holder and do not crack the coins out until after we have made a final determination of the PCGS grade.
