  Thanks Ken! It confirms my suspicions. Your S is not only smaller relative to the other writing and devices, leaving more room around it, but yours also is more upright.
  
  I bought this dime as a Micro S in 1990 from either Coast to Coast or Paul Sims. It appears I was cheated!

  Looking at the 2 pics, they don't look the same to me. But I could be wrong. Eyes are not what they used to be.

  1jester you might take a close look at your dime and make sure it is or is not a S over horizontal S type. I went to the Complete Guide to Mercury Dimes and the coin you are showing has the same type mint mark as the above mentioned.
