fake trade dollars

I,ve been considering getting a trade dollar, just because I dont own an example of one.Ebay is peppered with with sellers registered in Hong Kong and China that are obviously,at least to me,selling bogus dollars. What gets me is people with several 100 feedbacks are bidding on them.I can only assume that they know better and plan on dumping them on the unwary buyer.I guess my question is where should a Trade Dollar novice like myself be looking for a real example?

PCGS, NGC ANACS and SEGS should all provide excellent authentication of Trade Dollars.

I have a cheapish raw example that's real, and not too bad, but it does have a reverse rim hit on it. Can't recall the date or grade offhand. I believe it's an 1873-S. It's grey toned and F-VFish, not taking the rim hit into consideration. It is a "problem" coin but not horrible. Would certainly fill a hole in a type album well until a better piece came along. I'm pretty sure I have that coin priced under a hundred bucks. Maybe a good bit below. Can't remember offhand, but I'll check if you want a cheap Trade dollar.
