  you got two really good coins there fratt uncommon undervalued especially so the capped bust and also both with great!!!! eye appeal
  
  
  clash marks are monster common on half dimes this coin in this attachment 1860 has them that you can barely see in the scan
  
  and this coin is strongly prooflike and monster cameoed business strike coin the 1860 coins are usually as such this 1860 you have to really look and understand what you are looking at to see the clash marks when this coin is viewed sight seen
  
  oh and here is a three cent piece business strike also with some clash marks but not too well seen in the scans
  and you still have to look for them and know what you are looking to to see them on this coin when examining it sight seen

  Cool coins there Michael & michael. I've always liked Type Sets in Dansco albums. They just look so collector. I'll agree that the dark tone of the 29 makes it look cleaned at one time. To make the picture a little better run it through whatever photo editing program you have and crop out the album page. that makes a smaller easier to manage picture & without the distraction of the Dansco page.

  Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

  Here's trick to get a better close up picture with a camera that can't get in for close-ups of these small coins. Take a 7X-10X loupe and tape it to the end of your camera lens and you will be able to get some super close shots. This sounds rather crude but it does work! mike

  I'll have to try the taped loupe thing. I've done it without the tape and got good super closeups of mintmarks and such. Hard to do because seems like you need three hands at times. Re: clash marks, probably half of my seated half dimes have clash marks of varying severity.

  Half Dimes are a bit*h to photo and just plain look at. My eyes start to hurt after a fews moments when I look at these tiny ones. Great series which I gave up for that very reason.
  
  Another tough one is the gold dollars to photo.

  I can opt for gold dollars. Esspecially when they are in NGC slabs. You need to hit them straight on or the overhang of the holder blocks the coins.
