Looking at the white area, my hunch is that the tape was on there a long time and residue had to be removed, thus taking the toning with it. The area is pretty fresh looking. Whomever did it was a pro, though, as there are no signs of abrasive cleaning.

Send that to The Swimmer Institute of AT and see if they can do a quick patch job for ya. I would send you to Earl Schibe (sp), but they are out of business.

Earl Scheib is still in bussiness. In fact they painted my wifes

car two weeks ago. Actually they did a pretty good job. Of cours I got the delux pain and it cost about

500 dollars, but her car looks brand new.

I did not know that they were still in business. I know Mr. Scheib himself passed away many years ago. Guess the franchise lives on. Congrats on your wife's car.
