SLQ question - having trouble with 1917 T2

I'm a collector first, coin-dealer second. Been having a devilish time locating a cheap, common SLQ in an easy grade: 1917 Type 2, in XF-40. I've been working on a matched set of perfectly original, grey-toned XF's for several years, and for some reason, I either find this coin in Fine, polished XF, or MS-65 FH. Anyone else had trouble finding this coin? Believe it or not, it's giving me more fits than my 1919-D, 1923-S and 1927-S ever did!

Just wondering..........

James

I think that you answered your own question in the second sentence of your post when you included the word "cheap".
    "Have a nice day!"
  • Blackhawk, I've paid approximately full retail for every coin in my set. I'm putting it together as a collector, not a dealer!
