1973 Eisenhower Filled O in God? Rare type Ike

Hi Ike Collectors--

Does anybody know if this is a variety of Ikes? I noticed on a 1973 GSA Proof that the "O" in "God" is filled. It does not appear to be filled very deeply, but just does not have the shiny background to match the rest of the coin. I don't have any other 1973 proofs to compare it to, so I wanted to see if anybody else has seen this and knows if it is a known error. A photo of the coin is attached.

Thanks!

Too much magnification. Image is distorted and out of focus. Can't tell what is "filling" the O. And altough the holders are the same size and shape as the Carson City dollars, the 40% silver proof Ikes were not handled by the GSA.
  • I've never heard of anything like that. Probably not a variety, but might be a one-time error. Although from the photo, I'd guess just a blob of white toning, common on these coins. Can you get a closer photo?
  • Is this a better photo?

It looks like a white milk spot to me.

Looks like they missed polishing it when they polished the rest of the field on the die.

I agree with Rampage, it looks like a "milk" spot. The O retained a droplet of the cleaning solution they used on the coin after striking.
