not only was jamison a great player but...jiri welsch is gonna break out within a couple years

i guarantee it..he'll be very solid

ouch talk about a dumb trade (on the warriors half)

they were better off just not making any trades and starting speedy claxton at point...i mean he averages close to 14 ppg and 5 assists when he starts, he's only 25, why trade your best player in jamison, a good rebounder in fortson, a good 6th man in mills, and a first round draft pick of 2 years ago that has been doing great in the summer league and shows potential in welsch, for old nick van exel who will give you only 1-2 more good years and then popeye jones and evan eschmeyer, yea no comment needed on those two

it must suck to be a warriors fan...first arenas then jamison, you guys got my sympathies..usually when a team is rebuilding you trade for younger talent not older guys who will be decomposing as they run up and down the floor

I believe the mavs took in a bunch of salary. That will allow GS to resign some players instead of letting them go.

Still not a smart move by GS.

But, as far as I am concerned, it was a great trade.

the hilarious thing about it though is that Warrior fans on all the message boards I see are EXCITED about the trade!!! They have been a crappy organization so long that they truly don't know basketball anymore. The fans don't even realize how bad this is. Mark Cuban has just STOLEN from a blind man, period.

i liked van exel alot but we got to do what we got to do.good trade cause we got rid of 3 people that were just taking up bench room in popeye Jones(dead) Evan(dead),Johnson(retiring)Van exel(good player)
