Need an opinion on a big bald guy coin.

I sometimes brouse through the blue package Ikes now and then. They are usually real banged up. Found this one today that looks very nice. Opinions.

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Fields are nice and clean but the big dings on the front upper eagles wing and the reverse spots will keep it out of stratosphere grading.

    The forehead looks a little more like Gorbachev than Ike image

    Also, the right wing dings and the little spot (milky/tone) over the eagle's head distracts a little too. Finally, the fields look great but there is a little glare from the picture.

    Too tough to say based on the scan, can you take another picture ?

    Assuming that forehead is just light rub/shiny spot, MS66 or MS67. Depends on how much they want to pick on the eagle wing... it is common to find a scrape mark there (though the ding is a little unusual) and sometimes they let the scrape slide, and sometimes they don't and it costs a grade. I assume it depends on the grader.

    That's a beautiful coin Marty! My guess is MS66 or 67. The graders won't magnify it as much as you have. I'll bet it looks perfect in person without magnification.
