You pessimistic, untrusting little **************. You don't trust him/her? What the ................................ is wrong with you? I know Lucy you have a good eye for these Franklins, but can you stand another minute not to put the opening bid on what could be the premier Benny of your collection? C'mon wimp, money comes easy, but a chance like this comes along once in a lifetime. I think you are being a total prude -- vey unlike you Lucy. image

i got an idea, lets bid that mutha up to 4 million dollars...
hell, it's so ludicrous it would give ebay media airtime and point out the problematic issues
in numismatics surrounding ebay.....scamcrook can be the utimate last bid at $4 million. can we all
agree, who's game? it'll gain national attention and address important issues not only to beginner
collectors but the collector who is a beginning ebayer...eh? throw it out, let's mull it over...

I wonder if other collectable markets have people trying to sell absolute garbage for astronomical prices. And I
wonder if people like this really believe that what they are selling must be this valuable, or if they are just
hoping to jedi mind trick someone who has a lot of disposable income. Sheesh. image

no, it would all be wrote off as a "see what can happen on ebay and the harm the unwary suffer" and precautions are needed.
he's describing, knowingly by his read, a circ 1950 franklin half worth about $2.00
there are a lot of one hit scammers on ebay.
some for tiny amounts, some for one biggie, some new id does a month of proof sets for 200 + f/b then
hits the bay with a few hundred g of quick fast-gone scheming and yo money gone with it...
it's generally the chump slimeball types but there are a lot in prison doing it too...the "eaby one hit fit"..

From experience, they actually think its worth that much.
    This is fun! =)
  • I really love these auctions where some crummy coin is offered at an outrageous price......Really folks, someone that CAN spend that kind of money is not going to be duped into this. They really make funny auctions...
