Russ was right!

I did get my grades today and am VERY happy.

The 1904-S was considered a no-grade by several on the boards.
The 1847-O was crackout from an ANACS 45 holder.
The 1907 Saint was a crackout from an ICG 63 holder. Trends in 63-$800, 64-$1350.
And the 1926 Saint was a crackout from an ICG 64 holder, that fell into the garbage can as I was trying to peel the pesky ICG holder off!
I am very happy with the results of my first submission to PCGS!

1 60128365 1904-S S$1 VF25
2 60128366 1847-O $10 XF45
3 60128367 1907 $20 Saint MS64
4 60128368 1926 $20 MS64

One ICG coin is re-holdered with an UP-grade and the other is holdered at PCGS with the same grade. Who cares if they can't grade a Kennedy Half?! They do quite well with plenty of other series.

Date submitted and type of submission?

Yeah, a few coins carefully selected by collectors for submission sure tells us how great ICG is. image

SO, are you saying the the 1926 Saint was actually an MS65 before you dropped it in the garbage can, but since you dropped it, it stayed an MS64? image

Russ is ALWAYS right. That's what's so WRONG about him. image

    edit:

    Afterthought.

I can only think of one thing he's ever been wrong about.
His assertion that he takes better coin images than I do. imageimage

Tough to be shown wrong time after time, isn't it? Face it. There is a lot more to a grading service than how they grade a Kennedy Half.

It's no surprise, DCAMFranklin, that you're always first in line to defend the garbage slabbers since that's 90% of what you sell on eBay. Want me to start linking your auctions so everybody here can see just what kind of a seller you are? image

Overall, you did well and should be happy. Just one quick observation: ANACs can be tough and alittle inconsistent with gold so the crossover is no surprise to me. Congratsimage

    I would not mind it...

I'm sorry to say I have had poor luck with ICG.

20+ coins all came back from PCGS 1 to 2 points lower.

The truth is I was just playing.

The prices were so low. I was thinking maybe 1 or 2 might grade the same.

    Still had fun at it.
