New Barber half with nice toning

The mailman was nice enough to deliver this today. And I'm happy to report the coin looks exactly like the images used in the auction. Absolutely beautiful in my eyes. Does it make AU, or a high end EF?

Looks au to my eye's, probably au58 but the picture is a little small and my eye's are getting old.

It is a nice EF45 unless there is more luster than shows in the picture. An AU 50 still needs half of the origional luster still present.

I agree with Merc. If there's luster, it'll go au/50. If it's flat, it'll go xf/45. Should anyway. Nice looking coin.

Technically, there seems to be enough feather detail on the wing tips AND enough curl detail on the forehead to justify an AU grade technically - asnd as noted in prior posts, its gotta have some luster for the grading gods to give it the AU nod. Best of Luck and let us know what happens if you should chose to send it in..........

Looks at minimum XF45, easily could go AU50-53.
