The language is bad, attitudes are bad, and there is far too much garbage being posted. Take the Kobe discussions to any of the numerous AOL and Yahoo chatboards. It does not belong here. This board is for the buying, selling and trading of Sports cards and memorabilia.

That means no garbage talk, no selling and trading of CD's, DVD's and auto parts, or any other inappropriate posts.

Pics in many people's sig lines are way too large. 200x400 is the maximum size for ANY and ALL pics. PERIOD!!!

24 hours to clean everything up.

No discussions, no warnings.

long sigs take up a huge amount of bandwidth, not to mention a lot of the sites that make them use trackers and reverse linking to track the usage statistics and browsing characteristics of sites.

Hold up a sec here... it's been said before that certain sports-talk topics are ok because they are pertinent to how sports cards buy/sell/trade. It seems to me like the whole Kobe issue is rather important (note litotes) when it comes to buying/selling/trading of his cards and perhaps of basketball cards in general. So it seems to me like taking a stance against Kobe-related posts is a bit contradictory to what has been said before about posts not directly related to the buying, selling, and trading of sports cards and memorabilia, and not really addressing the issue of what is allowed on this board. Just my dos centavos

Only problem with that is if a member who is here all the time was made a moderator, who's to say he won't start deleting topics or posts of people he doesnt like.
