  Sorry, no Ikes for me. I guess there are not too many who would bid against you. The prices are fine. The raw coin would have cost the same but you got them graded for free.

  Usually the bidding on Ikes is spirited, Auctions that end on Sunday evening are generally more bargain prone.

  Ikes in pristine condition are hard to find. They are so big that they self distruct when they fall from the dies. They almost always have reed marks on the features from where the big monsters clang together. A complete set of ms 66 Ikes would probably cost you around 5 grand. Compare that with other moderns.

  The other neat thing about Ikes is that they are a short set 1971 thru 1978 and can be completed by even the casual collector.
