hI lUCY, mY FAVORITE CAT SINCE i WAS always the 55 T-Bird covertable, I actually found one !!! Strictly original, black with red leather interior and white top. The guy was nuts !!! he wanted 50 K for it !!!

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.
Mine is, and at one time was, the 1955 Chevy Nomad. Had it for 20 years, then sold it for "stupid" money. At the time I couldn't resist it, now I'm sorry I couldn't. Black and white, all original. It's still around, but do you think the "punk" wants to sell it back?

I've only read about these, but I wouldn't mind having one in my driveway. 345 C.I. hemi, 345 horsepower, the first year Detroit made a car with ci=hp. I belive the Corvette was also in that elite group that year.
Good Lord. There are too many great ones to choose from.
I remember as 6 or 7 year old the Shelby Cobra( the GT 350 and 400) was The car of cars in my eyes. So I guess I still have a warm spot in maheart for that particular vehicle.
I,ll pick a California Special Shelby Cobra in Whit Top, Baby Blue
<< <i>I wouuld have to say without a dought, 1970 426 hemi Cuda, 4- speed, Dana 60 with 4:10 to 1 gear ratio, Go wing and Yellow and Black would be the color. One day I'll have one of these.

1965 GTO Convertible trip deuces. I used to have one when I was living it up in So. Cal.
OK Hepkitty, since I won your first givaway and if by any chance my name comes up, just throw it out but let me know if I got lucky. I want someone else to win this baby.
I like the 1996 Viper GTS. Just the sound of it gets my heart pounding. I'll probably never own one, but I sure wouldn't mind taking one out for a spin sometime! Thanks for the giveaway. Rick II
I've had great transactions with people like: drwstr123, CCC2010, AlanLastufka, Type2, Justlooking, zas107, StrikeOutXXX, 10point, 66Tbird, and many more!
I've owned/own too many hot rods to pick just one. That's why I still have my 3 current mustangs: 96 Mystic Cobra(paint is same as on $20, 50, $100 bills and changes colors), 99 Cobra, and 2003 Mach 1. The flashiest was the 69 GTO in Porche Guards red, best cruiser was a 1969 Charger with a police interceptor 440, biggest 56 Lincoln Continenial(huge back seat). Ray

When I graduated from high school I bought my next door neighbors car. He had just returned from the army and Vietnam. He bought a fire engine red Ford Tarino. He sold me his 1956 Ford Crown Victoria. This car was his baby. I paid $600 for it .but only told my parents it was $500 because they thought even that was to much. This car was cherry inside and out. It had a 312 police interceptor engine with chrome lake pipes running down the side. It had dress skirts on it and a also came with crussin skirts to boot. There was a continental kit on the rear and three on the floor. He had installed an electric trunk latch which I thought was just so cool. The tires were covered with dodge lancer hub caps that were hard to keep from being stolen. This car had green lights under the hood and trunk when ever you opened either they would come on. The car was painted a pastel colored green with a black convertible top. It also came with the boot to cover the top when down. I also got with the deal about ten years worth of car and driver magazines.
I do not have the car or a picture anymore, just the memorys of one sweet automobile.
My childhood dream came true 10 years ago when I purchased a 1956 Corvette, single head lite's, 13 tooth grill, 327 - 4 barrel carb, 4 on the floor, light's em up in all 4..... Red w/ white cove's.....
Here it is with the top on.....

Of the cars mentioned so far I like the '56 Corvette as well as the Gull Wing Mercedes.
I always had a thing for muscle cars. I've had a few Mopars. So my favorite is the 1970 Plymouth Superbird. The Dodge Daytona is almost exactly the same, but doesn't have the irreverent Road Runner graphics and "beep-beep" horn.
Of course I want one with a Hemi. The 440 with a six pack would be neat too. However I'd be happy with a plain 440 as well
My father had a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible and use to take it to all the major shows on the East Coast. The car was restored in original condition and was cherry.
His favorite was also the 55 Olds Rocket 88, but he could never find one to restore.
Right before he passed away, he was starting to work on a 1957 Chrysler 300C Convertible. Great car! Unfortunately he never got it finish before he got cancer.
I'd have to say the 57 Chevy, that car is filled with memories for me.
Any GTO from 64 to 69 would be my pick. I have always had a place in my heart for a 60's Pontiac. My first car was a 64 Pontiac Bonnaville yep big car. It was the Offical keg runner in my high school days I swear you could put 4 kegs in the trunk.

I'm not enough of a gear head to know which of any of the numerous "historic" cars that have been mentioned.
I'm also to practical to say something like the Ferrari (but those are sweet looking cars).
But I will say what I wish I could get if the manufacturer would build it...
Honda Accord EX six cyclinder turbo-charged engine with 5 speed manual transmission and without the sun-roof.
I own a Honda Accord LX 5 speed (I love manual transmissions, automatics are too boring). It's a comfortable car with good handling and good gas milage. After all, Honda has been spending decades improving it's design of the Accord.
The problems are that the six cyclinder engins ONLY come with the automatic transmissions, and I can't comfortably fit in an EX (always comes with a sun-roof that eats up head room).
I couldn't find one vacancy in any hotel online in San Diego, so I didn't make it..... My whole trip was a unplanned last minute thing.... I am going to plan on hitting the Zoo during the next Long Beach show....

Frankly, I don't know much about cars. But, I will vote for the 1968 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible. Why? Well my Dad bought a bright red one new, and gave it to me when I went away to college at Northwestern University on the North Shore of the Chicago area in 1973. Can you imagine a college Freshman with a big motor, red convertible, tooling down Sheridan avenue at night with a few Fraternity buddies cruising for chicks. I don't really know if the car was any good, but I'll tell you that life never got any better than that
The early 2-seater Thunderbirds are nice - and used to be my favorites, but my ultimate dream car is the triple-white '70 Hurst Olds 442 pace car with the gold racing stripes. I've had a love affair with 442's ever since owning my '69 Cutlass Supreme.
I had to say the world's perfect car is the Shelby Cobra. Nothing but pure performance. If it doesn't make the car go faster, stop faster, turn harder, or increase the performance of the vehicle - it's not there. No "cutesie" crap - radios, AC etc.
lots of people saying they like the 442. 10 years ago when I used to go to the dragstrip, NO ONE cared about Oldsmobiles. Out of probably 100 cars at the strip, maybe 1-2 would be Oldsmobiles. You'd have to wade through the Chevys and Dodges to find a 442.
1972 Olds Cutlass S......stock 350 with just a plain old 2 bbl. Was my first car that I bought and paid for......
The old lady (45) I bought it from made me swear I wouldn't race it!!! hahahahaha!!! Sure lady, I'll drive it real sloooooooow! I first had to pick it up and drive it from Foat Wuth to Dallas so the Credit Union guy could approve the loan.....well, I almost wrecked the sucker heading into the old MixMaster before I even left Cowtown.....slick, wet roads, eh!!!
Finally got my heart out of my throat and found a dry road on old 114 and I decided to "peg it"......so, I kept my word for 40 minutes,,,,,,fair enuf!!
65' Buick Wildcat. My favorite car is one my cousin had. When we were growing up he got it from his grandmother. What a blast we had. I should have bought it when he sold it. 8 miles to the gallon but worth the memories. Tom
My Father had a lovely 72 Olds Cutlass Supreme with a vinal top which he bought brand new. This car was killer and it was fast, it simply had a rocket 350 with a 4bbl but it would move.... I loved that car... Oldsmobiles have a special place in my heart...

Trooper - here's my old Wildcat. Sold it to buy my house (back to the same guy who sold it to me 2 years before, whose kids found it and forced him to buy it back). Definitely the sweetest car I've ever owned - new cars included. 430/360 hp.
