OT - Talk about preservatives!!

I just took a break from cataloging some currency and decided to get a snack from the vending machine. I usually don't eat packaged food, but I skipped lunch today and felt dizzy. Here's what I got out of the machine:

This little snack is only good for 305 more years! Maybe I will save this for my great, great, great, great, great grand children!image

To avoid the OT police, I spent 3 MS-69 state quarters for this snack. The quarters were not slabbed.

Little Debbie owns! Cheap eats! They even make a Twinkie like raspberry filled angel food snack that is FAT FREE.

i think "fat free" is just a sales angle. they don't mention they used 42 pounds of sugar in place of that fat.

Sugar isn't a problem. I can eat it by the bagful if I want. Fat and cholesterol are the only things I need to look out for.

Man, those oatmeal creme pies rule though - I don't care when they expire. I intentionally walk past them in the store because if I buy em I'll eat em all at once.

same with honey-roasted peanuts or Ben & Jerry's. Nothing like ingesting a full week's supply of saturated fat in one sitting.

That was pretty much my eating routine for most of my life. Name the saturated fat laden food and I was consuming it in large quantity. Finally caught up to me, so now it's mostly cardboard, sticks and twigs.

  • Do you think that it could possibly be an altered date? That one wouldn't even have to be tooled.

Hmmmm.....twigs huh. I haven't tried them. All I can have is grass, dirt, and tap water. Triglycerides over 500. Oh yeah, and I can have Zocor for desert.image Glad it isn't just me.image
