You know, the one who messes up all the BIN's.

Here's what he replied to my e-mail:

why would i enjoy messing up people's but it now's. i dont care what people think of me i bid on the card because the buy it now price isnt good, if it is i will buy it now. i have perfect feedback and i have money to spend on cards. so if i can buy this is a free trading place. most of the time the cards dont even sell for more then the buy it now price. if you or whoever ask i am not in it to mess people up. im in this for a hobby, for most people these days make it a business, i just try to get as many cards as i can and get them graded and keep all the ones that are gem mint. if you guys have a problem with it then i dont know what to say. i am a card collector just like any of you. if it was a good buy it now why wouldnt i just buy it. of course i would buy it but if its not then i bid and try to win for a lower price. anyways i hope you and as well as everybody else get to know what my intentions are before you guys spread rumors of me for the wrong thing. i got to go now, so please dont think bad of me if you guys have a problem why not email me and ask me, im a great person to deal with and i understand please you or whoever talk to me first before making a judgement on anything. email me back when you find the time. take care now and God Bless

Yeah.

E.g. when someone has for example a Kidd auto with a BIN of $30, and a minimum bid of $0.01, he bids $0.01 with no intention of actually winning the auction. He does this when the auction has just been listed, and only on auctions with BIN's.

He is a legit buyer, I know him.

He bids on everything, unless the BIN is really good. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I guess some people do.

Oh come on.. what is the point of bidding $1 on a Jason Kidd auto and thus ruining the BIN? He has done this to a LOT of people, just ask around on the boards.

That's why I started listing items with higher minimum bids, I use $24.95 BIn $30 or $35 or Min bid $49.95 BIN $60 $70 or so forth. This keeps the bidding to serious customers only, and preserves the BIN longer. Only costs 25 cents more to list at $24.95 then listing at .01.

Whats the point of bidding $1 instead of using the BIN of $30? Because sometimes the Kidd auto sells less than $30.

You're COMPLETELY missing the point here..
He doesn't HAVE to use the BIN, but when an auction is up for like 1 hour, he bids $1 (or whatever the LOW minimum bid is), with NO intention of actually winning the auction. He just ruins the BIN and does this to almost all good BIN's listed. He doesn't care about the card (otherwise he would bid more, and more often), he just has fun in ruining BIN's, which is pretty sad if you ask me.

If the doesn't want the card, he shouldn't bid on it, it's as simple as that. Leave the BIN for people who actually want the card.

If you dont like him, block him. You dont have to make a post saying that this guy is doing it intentionally, because I know him and he is not. If he thinks the BIN price is too high, he will bid the minimum and watch it to try to get it cheaper. And no one is online 24/7, so he cant win everything. He has 865 positives since Jan of 2002, so obviously he does buy things. He is a legit buyer.

If anyone doesnt like it, block him, and move on, no point in arguing over this.

I emailed him like 5 times asking why he does this, and he never responded to my emails.
I blocked him from bidding on my auctions

Funny thing is, I've had some cards as of recent sell for more than the BIN price I put on it after
someone bid and eliminated it... You never know with ebay.

Yea, a friend of mine had a BIN of $225 on a Kobe BGS 8.5 chrome RC. The BIN got ruined, and he got $280 for the card. Its not always a bad thing.

True, I once put up my Kobe Finest RC Refractor w/ a BIN of $200, and it ended for $390

BTW Zack, I will send you the money w/ PayPal as soon as the guy who won my Dirk SP Authentic RC pays.
