I wandered into the 'Old Book Store' here today at lunch and found these on the shelf for $3 each;
1962 Redbook
1979 Redbook
1967 Major Variety and Oddity Guide of US coins by Frank Spadone 4th edition
I'm rather enjoying browsing through these and crying that I didn't take up collecting sooner, like 30 years ago. The
owner of the store says he has some more coin books and will dig them out for me to look at next week. I did see
one named A Mercenaries Guide to Coin Collecting by his Hall but passed on it. Maybe I should pick it up tomorrow
just to add to my pile of coin books.
Are older coin books, etc a collectors item themselves?

A couple of years ago, I picked a pair of Redbooks for $0.50 each, incl the oldest he had (1963) and the
year I started collected (1967)....
