Anyone ever try this with redemptions??

I was wondering if anyone mailed in redemptions for serial # cards, and have asked for the jersey # serial number and did it work?

yeah you wont have any luck with that - but who knows? you may even get the # anyway.

they just put the cards in a envelope and send--if your lucky to recieve at all!

Well Playoff is pretty good on redemptions, returning them in a decent ammount of time. UD is a big gamble but there losers anyway. I should have a few redemptions back from playoff 6-8 weeks.

I have tried it and it worked once and I made huge money on it! You have to know the right people. There
was a thread on this here a long time ago, it is probably gone, but it named some of the "right people"

The person who said that you are lucky to get your redemptions is right. The card companies feel
that they owe us nothing! If you get a mint redemption that takes less than 2 months to get
feel lucky!

usually playoff always mails within 6-8 weeks as promised on the redemption. I have never had any problems with them.

Playoff is pretty quick with thier redemptions. Another company that is even better than them is BAP-Be A Player(Hockey).
BAP has one of the best customer service & redemption departments of ANY card company we ever had to deal with. They actually put the customer 1st when it comes to service. The quality of the product they produce is 2nd to none.
Since boycotting Upper Deck, we have only been buying BAP & Pacific
Hockey. We aren't missing UD much at all anymore.

Yea BAP rocked when I was collecting cards..when I needed replacements or what not I received them back within 3 weeks, awesome!

Talking about redemptions made me think of all those people who have been spending hundreds-thousands of dollars on those Lebron redemptions. I hope when the people decide to send them in they actually get the rookie back. I know I wouldnt want to take that chance.
