Isn't it more fun to find out your grades when you open the package rather than online or calling?

I used to always try to check my grades online or call for an update. Recently, I like to wait until the package arrives. Do you feel the same rush of adrenaline as you open the package , when you don't know the results ahead of time? What are your thoughts?

Sure do. It just sucks when you open the package and a coin didn't hit the grade you wanted it to. Then your heart plummets and you try to justify it by the nice upgrade you got on the other piece you didn't expect.

I do that with my NGC submissions - just wait until the package arrives. But, with PCGS I just can't seem to stop myself from checking. My pulse starts quickening while I'm waiting for the page to load. The sweat begins to accumulate upon my brow, my heart pounds, my breathing becomes labored and, at last! The page loads and I see:

<< <i>PCGS Order Status for Invoice # xxxxxxx

Your shipment was received on xx/xx/2003. Further processing is pending. >>

It's more of an exciting adrenaline rush to open a package and find out the grades of the raw coins you bought (for much cheaper than the claimed grade price) off ebay! I've returned many, but I've got some really nice ones like a ms65 28-d nickel, ms64rd 08 indian cent. I'm hoping a 52-s Franklin Half I'm expecting anyday now is really ms65 as claimed, we'll see!

Nope, I like finding out early if I can.

It doesn't spoil the fun of opening the package and seeing the coins again.

That what AGC does!!!

I don't wait for PCGS submissions, I look them up right away and post my AU58s for everyone to see, now that I joined the collectors society I get my NGC grades online also.
Hey Jeremey: Somewhere here I have a Merc in a AU58FB!

I am still waiting for my package which was received 6-23-03. I don't care how I find out, but sure wish either the on-line system would show me my grades, or that the package would come back to me.

morganbarber mine was received by PCGS on the 23rd of June also. It's a waiting game.
