Nice little proof set surprise!
Got a 1962 Proof Set in the mail today. I bought it for what appeared to be a nicely toned Jefferson.
Now typically, I immediately slap a Post-It over the half in any pre-1964 proof set - to reduce the nausea.
I opened this set down at Russ' shop. I was busily going nuts over the Jefferson:

... and Russ says - hey - did you notice the Franklin in this set?
Of course - I replied "nope".
Guess I should've looked a little closer.

A couple of TUMS later... I was able to keep lunch down long enough to look at it.
I focused on the mirrors, the frost, and the contrast - and tried not to pay too much attention to the coin itself.
All in all - not a bad day.

Collectively - we felt that it was likely a PR67CAM. Maybe... just MAYBE (after conservation) it could go PR68CAM.
Of course - at "certain" grading services it'd be a PR70DCAM - or UCAM...

Wish I'd thought of it.
<< <i>We know where the spots come from, Russ and DCAMs, well you know the rest....
Too funny!!
