I don't remember anybody saying the coin was rare in 67CAM, (except maybe some coin dealers or eBay sellers). A bit scarce, but certainly not rare. In DCAM, they're very difficult, but easier in CAM. Doing three on one submission is pretty damed good, though.

The big make was Lucy's. A 1949-D in MS-65 FBL is a very difficult coin. Last printed Pop. I have is 63 and only 2 higher. Congrats!

Lucy, did the coin come from that '49 mint set you purchased on Ebay?

Only a couple more orders with AHs at PCGS, for about the past month they have all been going to NGC. Let see 2 1/2 months vs. under one month (and $6 a coin less to grade!).

BTW, they are a lot harder to make in a CAM then you might think, between hairlines and milkspots they are tough. I just happened on a nice run of proof sets.
Sorry David! No soup for you!

    Marty,

I'll give you $50 each for the cameo'd Accented Hairs. That's a quick $250 and you don't even have to go through the hassle of listing them on eBay. Yeah, I know I'm overpaying, but I like you.

  • It is strange, but to suck is to actually have scored a hit such as a home run when you are on the oposing team. It is playful fun among comrades and is actually a means of saying congratulations on a job well done.
I don't recommend this terminology in a biker bar however if you are a business suit kind of guy.
Thats a hit on the AH kennedys. congrats, I mean, you suck.

Gee Russ, I'm so flattered you took the time to double check for me. You are right. I had looked to the NGC Population chart and quoted their numbers of 63, 2 higher. That would make sense, as their standard for FBL is so much more difficult than that of NGC. PCGS' Population for the '49-D MS-65 FBL is almost 300% of that of NGC.
