What grade is "FR02"?

Here's an auction offering a coin of that grade. I've never heard of FR02.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

  • FR02 is about the second-lowest grade, where P01 is the lowest (a readable date and a discernable variety, but not much else in details). So the grades go P, FR, AG, G F, etc.

Edited because I goofed! I forgot about P01! DOH!

FR = Fair. The grades that are below Good are About Good (AG-3), Fair (FR-2), and Poor (PO-1).

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

FR stands for F@cking Ruined image
    Si vis pacem, para bellum

In God We Trust.... all others pay in Gold and Silver!
  • IMHO Fr 02 is much more of a legitimate grade than MS 61,62, 64, 66, 68, 69 and 70 all of which are phony marketing grades designed to relieve the gullible from large sums of cash.
