Best place or order Coins from???

Being a newbie, I'm not familiar with places to order coins from on the internet.

In your opinion, what are some of the better websites to order coins from? (ie: good selection, good price, good service, fair gradings, etc.)

What are some of the websites I should try to stay away from? Why?

Thanks for your help (both on this post and my last one).

Rare coins of New Hampshire is pretty good but the selection might be low depending on the coins you are looking for.

Welcome to the boards. This is one link that may be of use to you even if you don't buy coins from them, but if you do I would pay close attention to thier "value index". I find thier value index to be fairly accurate most of the time. They have an exclusivly internet auction every week as well as direct sales and other auctions. They also have other useful information on this site.

best advice: only buy coins "live" if you can. you should never buy coins sight-unseen!

make sure you get a good return policy (which is the equivalent to "sight-seen")

It would be helpful to know what kind of coins you are looking for (and your price range)

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I'll assume you already know about eBay.

Try Teletrade.com. I've had mixed results and I HATE their return policy, but they have frequent auctions.
