PCGS misses a grading deadline and...

I call customer support, figuring that I would get 10 free gradings (the number of coins submitted under the regular invoice!). Well she tells me that all overdue invoices have to go to David Hall now for approval for a refund or any kind of freebies. Today is day 16 and the coins have not even been looked at yet! Now there telling me it's up to David Hall if any compensation is to be given! THIS BLOWS!!!!

My "15 business day" submission took 20 business days to get graded. Just got the grades on monday. Guess I need to call David as well.

my 15th day is Thursday 6-26-03.

Must be, more than 2/3 of my orders are going to NGC now. This was an order I wanted done in 15 days. But to find out after 15 days the graders haven't even looked at them yet! Well that sucks! Then to be treated like a leper by customer support. In the past, when PCGS missed a date, you would call customer support, they would mail you grading vouchers and call the grading room manager to find out what is going on with your coins, then call you back and let you know. Now, NOTHING!

coins are in the grading room. they said I might have grades on Thursday, if not check back within the 2 days after and they SHOULD be there.

Oh kwidgerbidgen. I have had a REHOLDER (for a gunked up slab) goin on 2 weeks now.

Crack, flip, slip, seal, send. Don't even have to look at the coin.

I think they were handing out quite a few freebies and it got a little out of hand. I got 43 at regular service. They have changed things a little as well. It used to be that the 15 days was from when the coins arrived. Now its 16 days from arrival, had this been the case last month I would not have rcvd my 43 free grades. The day they arrive is now day 0. Customer support also told me that the "freebie" regulars take 21 business days, not 15. Tomorrow is 15 Business days on my 43 coins but they have not entered the grading room and PCGS will be at a show later this week.

I just had a designation review come back.. usually was 10 days .. now 15 days. My grade guarantee is on the start of its 3rd month with a full 2 behind it as of yesterday.

This must be a very recent development. I called Monday and was told I would get the comps in a few days. No hassle. Also told me my other order was in verification (also late) and to check back in a day or two. Still no update.

Question to HRH on the Q&A last night didn't get a reply.
