Won this on Teletrade last night...

What do you think about it? I bought it because it looks unique and I have not seen one like it. What would cause a coin to tone like this? For $39 I don't think it is too bad. I can take the good with the bad opinions. image

I think if it matches the description, it will look better than the image. I had my eye on that one, but knew that you'd like it, so I sucked it up and let it go just for you. image

BTW, is that JFK for sale yet?

Maybe textile toning of some sort?

That looks like a coin that was in an old coin cabinet. When the coins were not being displayed, they would be covered with fabric to keep dust from accumulating on the coins.

Perhaps the coin was under someone's tires at the beginning of a drag race image

I think its kind of interesting. Lot of luster peeking out from underneath there.

    Lori,

Where is your profit motive? Has the capitalist in you been subjugated by some evil force?

What is the current going price for a 67DCAM anyway? Just curious. You are not persuading me in any way. image

    Lori,

Current market value is about $110. However, I think that yours is on the upper end of the scale for contrast so should command more.

I think it has plenty of eye appeal! It really looks neat. I can just picture it sitting in an old cigar box for decades. mike image
