I will be there thru closing on Sunday and will be happy to see one & all.

There are only 100+ tables, so you will not have any trouble finding anyone. I am in the front center of the room.

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

    Singapore will be in attendance.

You will be able to identify me by my extensive library of old auction catalogs, which I will not have with me.

My wife and I have made tentative plans to be there Friday and perhaps Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and maybe selling some coins to some of the dealers here or doing a little horse trading.image

don't know - never been to a show.

i'm assuming they have a ridiculously high-priced food vendor there. maybe we can meet there at say, 12:30 or 1, then go somewhere reasonable.

Larry and I will be there...our home town. I have a corner table and I believe it's #319. As Julian said, it is a smaller show, but up and coming for sure and I think everyone can enjoy themselves.

Here's a tip. The food is really terrible at the show with one vendor selling cold pizza and overpriced hot dogs. There are some nice places fairly close, but you'll want to have a car or pile in with someone who has a car. If you are planning on staying for the day and having dinner, there is a wonderful steak place just across the street...sorry can't remember the name now. If you have transportation, you'll have no trouble finding some great places to eat.

Hope to see some or all of you so please stop by and say hello.

Only if it's at Heavenly Bodies.
They serve a great burger there. Great view too!!!

Should be able to make it, but it depends on the work schedule.

If I do make I'll be holding a bag of Franklins that you guys can grade for me(I'm still clueless on those things).

    Tom

Suggestion for lunch might be to order "Geno's East or Giordono's Pizza"(Chicago Stuffed or Deep Dish) for delivery and eat at the bar. (If they allow that). Or just driving over to those places(about a 5 minute drive for each).

Heavenly Bodies eh? I'm not sure my girlfriend is gonna go for that. There's not much I can do, but...

    leave her at home.

anyway I'll (and probably JTrusty) be at the food vendor at 12:30 Friday in case you wanna meet up MB (or anyone else). I'll probably be the tallest one there so you shouldn't have much trouble seeing me.

I am afraid to say it but I am not going to be going to the show after all. I was really looking forward to going but we have other things that are more important to do. Two weeks ago my grandfather broke his hip and has been in the hospital. I am staying with my Aunt and Uncle in Savoy, Illinois. We have been driving back and forth between Savoy and Tell City, Indiana on the Weekends. Since my grandfather broke his hip my grandparents will be moving in with us. We are trying to get most of their furniture moved to our house before he gets out of the hospital. If it were not from all of the driving back and forth that we have been doing lately I would be with you all browsing the bourse floor. I dearly wanted to go to the show and meet some of my fellow forum members. I would have loved to have done some major shopping. When you all get back from the show will you describe what it was like.

CoinAddict sorry to hear about your grandfather. I'll make sure i let you know how the show was. Don't worry about missing it, there will be other shows so just enjoy being with the family for a while.
