I took three passengers today in Russ's caddy to meet a friend for pizza. What passengers have you

I went to meet a friend earlier for pizza over his place. Russ's slab caddy fit two NGC slabs and one PCGS comfortably. I took the following for a ride.

1. 1945-S 10c NGC-67 Aqua and green.
2. 1929 Swiss. 1/2 Franc NGC-66 gold peripheral toning.
3. 1999-S 1c PCGS-PR69DCAM (Super DCAM!! and frost).

This thing is great.
Have you taken any coins for a ride in the slab caddy?

Brian.

    Brian,

Three slabs is outside of authorized design parameters. To be back in compliance, you will need to buy another one. image

Will be taking mine to the Austin coin club meeting to show off:
    - Silver to gold toned (dramatic) 1937-S Buffalo in MS66
    - 1853 no arrows half dime monster toned blue w/ magenta centers NGC AU58

I'll be interested to hear feedback on the caddy too.

I am taking my slab caddy to the GNA show this Friday. I am only going to bring my loupe in the caddy (no coins), but I hope to fill it up at the show (2 coins, one already reserved). In case things get out of hand, I purchased an extra caddy. It is very important to be prepared!

And I was all set to ask what year the Caddy was... it doesn't sound like a 1953 El Dorado Convertible.

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

Depending what one carries in one's caddy, it might be worth more than the one you drive.

My only requirement of a caddy is that he/she can carry 70 pounds of clubs for 7 hours over 36 holes.

My slab caddy is packed for the show! Two slabs, one flip, and a loupe. It reminds me of those "how many people can you get in a Volkswagen?" gags. So what is the record, Russ, for most items in a caddy? And if I get desperate, I bought two--I could sport bilateral caddies.

    RYK,

There's one forum member that bought a 50 pack and said he's going to hang them all over his body sort of like LM's holey coin vest. image

I thought you meant your borrowed Russ` Cadillac, purchased from the sell of his `74 Corvette, to entertain friends
    and make some coin sales.

Slab caddy. To the non-collector it sounds like your talking about a hearse.

I fear that we will be seeing pictures of people with a belt full of caddies similar to a picture of a bunch of "propeller heads" with pocket protectors full to the bursting point. This may give us a worse image than we already have. Can you imagine someone with 15 or 20 caddies all the way aroundimage

Just got my caddy. It looks too nice to put anything in and then carry it around as I'd hate to scuff that faux leather. For the time being it resides in its own protective plastic bag.
