Hey Lori - you're getting quite good at those toners!

Looking at the pictures, and not being able to really see some of the necessary detail and luster, I'd say:

    top - MS64
    Bot - MS65

I gave the 1st one a low grade because the breast feathers are flat and have a lot of rub. Will the toning give it a push? I know it is hard to tell from the picture. I should have said the feathers are kind of bad on the first.

Both MS64. The first has better luster but more abrasions. The second is cleaner but with more subdued luster.

Looks like a low end 64 (top) and a high end 64 (bottom one). The '85 might still get a 4 if that is a notorious year for New Orleans soft strikes. Dog97 and Dragon will give you a good take if they see them.....both are good at Morgans....I just play the game..image

Top MS64 and a very PQ toner it is! The 86, something bothers me about that coin. Either your picture is not accurate or well I dont really know. I think if your picture is accurate then it will probably come back in a body bag. Cant tell for sure!image

I would say 62 on both.

A lot of chatter on the first coin and while the second one looks cleaner it has a fairly large bag mark on the lower right of the obverse.

Those marks keep it out of Choice (63) for me.
