Welcome aboard the boards. My first PCGS slab was a PR64 1957 Washington puchased for not much over $10. That was before I knew what a good grade for a 1950s proof was, and before I knew about population reports.
Travis, My welcome is extended to you too. You've got to know that the submitters of PCGS MS64 Franklins had to figure there was a shot, at least, of MS65 or I doubt they'de have tried.
These coins are terrific at these levels for 64FBL's. Nice catch.
Thanks for the welcome everyone! I collect all types of coins. every variety has its own appeal so it is hard to just pick one! I seem to have more franklins than anything else at this time. Here is a pic of one of my proof franklins. the mark on the back of frankies head is something stuck between the coin and the slab.
