SOME OF THE COLORS HERE ARE , GOLD , BLUE , RED , DEEP PURPLE , AND MORE , OF COURSE SOME ARE RAINBOWED DEEP TOO . i wonder if he has made up any colors
I WOULD THINK OF THESE COINS MORE LIKE ART THEN ANYTHING ELSE . NO THESE COINS ARE NOT PAINTED . YES THESE COINS ARE REAL MONEY . YOU HAVE A LOW DOWN SIDE HERE ON THESE COINS , BECAUSE YOU CAN ALWAYS SPEND THEM FOR THE FACE VALUE
But guys, we get a coin in it's very own 2x2 flip, so we don't have to worry about it. And they even throw in free, yes that's right, I said FREE staples. Is that not a deal?
Here's a couple quarters I just found in my oven. I don't know what happened, they fell in the oven when it was at 400 degrees, and 20 minutes later... I just don't know.
They look like the ones in the auction when viewed at an angle, but when I scanned them (straight on) they just look over cooked.
Took about 20 minutes to create the master pieces, of blue, purple, pinkish-red, and gold. No seasonings, but maybe I should have tried one in a bake potato, I recall hearing that helps with the colors.
Now kids, this was just for fun, and it was on AU circulated state quarters, and don't ever destroy a nice coin (especially a Franklin) this way! Also, this type of AT is the kind you can spot a mile away. Coins just don't naturally tone over long periods of time this way.
You can make fun of them all you want, but I'm bidding on a bunch of them for the new PCGS Purple State Quarter Registry set.
A different eBayer had some Morgans that had wild colors also. I sent an email to him and asked him if he could guarantee that they were NT and not AT, and also where he got them from. His reply was that he bought them that way a few years ago, and no, he could not say they were NT. I passed.
Not just no three alike, or no two alike, but NO ONE ALIKE
That humanity at large will ever be able to dispense with artificial paradises seems unlikely. Most men and women lead lives at the worst so painful, and at the best so monotonous, poor, and limited, that the urge to escape, the longing to transcend themselves, if only for a few moments, is and always has been one of the principal appetites of the soul.
