Coin Collectors and Shops in or around Savannah Georgia

Wondering if there are any coin dealers in or around the Savannah Georgia area. I would love to meet some other collectors in the area too.

There is a shop I think that is downtown somewhere...Regal coins or something like that?

I think they went out of business I am not too sure, I know my grandfather worked there years ago, is how many of my coins came to me.

REGAL belongs to TONY it is still open from time to time. It is better if you call first his number is in the book
I live in Savannah and have been collecting since 1976 and am always interested in meeting Savannah collecters

I collect all coins, both foriegn and US. I also have a nice collection of Cameos. I live in Springfield, in Effingham. If you get the time I work in the Pawnshop in the middle of town cannot miss us. I have some of them here.

Off-topic, but I'm thinking of moving to Savannah... my wife and I went down and looked around for several days. We liked the town and people. But it wasn't during the summer.

Would you live there if you could live anywhere?

Well I am not in Savannah persay but I am north of savannah a few towns but I like Savannah I would love to live out in the Isle Of Hope area which is in Savannah out near Tybee.

We lived in GA for 10 years and visited Savannah & Tybee Island many times. Now we're back in the Southwest where it's just as hot, but less humid.

We would live in Savannah in a heartbeat. We miss it a lot. We plan to go back for vacation next year.

Yes, it is hot & sticky in the summer, but you adjust - just crank up the a/c and wait 'til the sun goes down to venture out again - or head to the beach.

Actually the best area is St Simon's/Sea Island, but Savannah is next best. That portion of the Atlantic coast is relatively safe from hurricanes, because it bends so far inland, contrasted with the outer banks of NC, so it's rare that you have to worry about bad weather.

True and I live 5 miles from South Carolina Border and the weather gets interesting....and being a firefighter that makes my job quite rough at times. Any ideas of any coin shops in South Carolina? Like between Charleston and here.

Those Sand Gnats are huge I seen one the other day who could have swallowed......a small dog...hahaha... well just an exageration but we do have some HUGE gnats and Mosquitos. If your talking about the baseball team well I don't know whats going on with them I have not seen a game in years.

Jacob, I live in Brunswick and work on Saint Simons. I also have a small coin booth at the Antique Mall in the Glynn Place Mall in Brunswick (near the movie theaters, where the old K-Mart used to be.)

Supercoin, aside from insect life and steamy summers, this place is great.

I will have to make plans to make a trip to this antique mall you are at. Its tough working 6 days a week no time to go do anything......Are you there on Sundays?
