I hope PCGS gets my FB submissions done before this auction ends, so I know if I already have the necessary plastic to go with the 68FB I already own . . .
dbldie55, I want to let you know way in advance that I am about to list some Roosies for sale on the forum. Please, when you see the Heading " Registry Roosevelts for Sale" Do not open the thread just pass on bye.
If this was not the appropriate place to list my link, my apologies. I did it as I didn't get any interest when offering it earlier to board members and Registry Set owners.
Man of Coins: I don't have any RS Washington quarters to offer. I did, however, get my eBay auction lots today ("unopened" 1961-1963 proof sets), and one of the quarters has a golden tone on the obverse and reverse. I will try posting a picture this weekend to get opinions of the very opinionated members on this forum.
Also, the 1963 Roosevelt in the proof set mentioned above has a great cameo appearance and the coin is totally white. It also appears that Liberty has some doubling. Is this the double-die referred to in the price guide?
You guys trashed him for showing his coin with a link to ebay. But you let Wondercoin put list of coins for sale and no one says anything. They belong in the buy sell area and not here.
Agree with Wondercoin, as long as the thread title says it's a sale. If it is an EBAY sale or sale for registry participants and you don't want to read it, jsut don't open the thread. Simple as that.
good name- wannabe, because that's all you may ever be- perfect description. wondercoin helps and contributes so much to the forum and any collector that asks for advice, he's unselfish and will help anyone here. he's the backbone of the boards and should be able to post anything anywhere he pleases. when you do 1/2 as much as he does for collectors you can post anything anywhere. until then cry somewhere else, no one here really cares.
PCGS sets under The Thomas Collections. Modern Commemoratives @ NGC under "One Coin at a Time". USMC Active 1966 thru 1970" The real War.

<< <i>I wasn't aware this was a board sale. This looked like an ebay sale to me. My mistake. >>
No problem. The first step is admitting it.
