Great Experience-Russ/Compucheap!!!!

I sold him a coin once on ebay. He paid, I sent the coin, a Kennedy if I'm not mistaken. Everyone was happy. Thanks Russ, may have been the best transaction of my life! image

No, but he tried to pay with empty cellophane from 1964 Proof Sets. I came very close to negging him for that.

Russ had some really yummy commemoratives listed not long ago. Wish I would have won a couple. He doesn't know this yet but we're going to be partners on that 1964 SMS MS69 on Teletrade this weekend. I'm gonna bid, all he has to do is come up with the $10 grand. Right partner? image

    Joe,

Do you have a link? 1964 and SMS do not mix - perhaps you meant 65?

    It's a 1964 Kennedy NGC Specimen 69 on Teletrade. Oops. It's lot #1399, April 23rd.

Actually, the 1964 SMS is coming up Wednesday the 23rd.

This is the coin that used to be incorrectly holdered as a PCGS MS68 business strike.

I purchased two Cam/DCAM JFKs from Russ very recently. He left feedback immediately on payment, shipped them out very quickly, and packed them quite well.

Russ sent me a wonderful birthday present that I will always hold on to - even though I'm selling most of my collection - he gave me my first AH.

OK Russ - here's your opportunity to trade in all your 64 proofs for a true rarity! Would you do it? image

    Joe,

I have a hunch that the coin is going to end up being a "not sold" after being bid to over $10K. I think the owner is likely just establishing a floor.

Never met Russ, don't know him, never bought or sold anything to Russ, never been shafted by Russ, never been done right by Russ. I do enjoy some of his comments though. He's alright in my book, although I'll probably never know for sure.image
