Trugrade observations...............Franklins

I was at a local coin shop today. He had 3 Franklins that were graded MS65 FBL by Trugrade. My observation was that they were all FBL. However, the MS designation that I would have assigned would have been no better than MN62. The coins were all UNC, but very marked up with nicks...............Ken

It's good to hear first-hand reports of coins slabbed by new outfits. What did the dealer think about the grading?

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

One thing that was revealed at the ANA/ACG hearing is that the grader at TruGrade is a former ACG grader.

    Explains a lot...
