  Might be minted on a quarter planchet strip. Weight it. -Should weigh 11.34 grams. If it weights less, have it authenticated (ANACS or PCGS) as that would be quite the find.

  Could be struck on a planchet cut from quarter thickness stock, could struck on an SBA planchet (weight would be 8.1 grams), or possibly struck on a foreign planchet. Does it show the clad layers? If it does then it is most likely the first or second possibility. If no layers show then the third possibility becomes more likely.
